Why I Started this website

A short introduction to this space and what it is for

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to people's personal corners of the internet portfolio sites, blogs, little digital spaces where someone just sat down and shared what was on their mind. Not polished brand pages. Just people, being honest about what they were building, learning, or figuring out.

I don't think I fully realized it until recently, but those people shaped me. I'd stumble onto someone's site, or a YouTube video, read about what they were doing and how they were doing it, and something in me would light up. I wanted to be like that. I wanted to be out there doing things worth talking about, in my own small way.

I haven't done anything "great" yet

I want to be upfront about something: I haven't achieved anything huge yet. I'm not writing this because I've got some big accomplishment to show off. I'm writing this because I've realized you don't need one.

There are still things I've done that I'm quietly proud of small wins, things I've learned, moments that mattered to me even if they wouldn't make headlines anywhere. And I've come to believe those things are worth sharing too. Somewhere out there, someone is looking for exactly the kind of thing I have to offer, even if it's small. This site is for that person.

One of the things I want out of life is to help and inspire people the same way I was helped and inspired by strangers on the internet who had no idea I existed. I can't skip ahead to being someone with a huge platform or a long list of achievements. But I can start now, with what I actually have, and let this be the place where that goal begins to take shape.

What this space is

So that's what this is: my personal corner of the internet. A place to share the things I think are worth sharing lessons, ideas, small wins, whatever I'm working through in the hope that it helps or inspires even one person who happens to find it.

I'm not trying to be perfect here. I'm just trying to be honest, and to finally put something out into the world the way so many others put things out for me.

Shoutouts

Quick thanks to a few people who are secretly responsible for this website existing:

Sumedh Kant, my brother for years of moral support (and mild sibling roasting that kept me humble).

James Scholz, a YouTuber I've never met but who somehow motivated me more than most people I have met.

Ritwik Vashistha, an MSc Statistics graduate whose blogs genuinely inspired me and showed me what sharing your thoughts publicly could look like.

If you're reading this, welcome. This is where it starts.
